Two bills that will address the meth mouth oral health crisis are planned for introduction on Thursday, July 26, 2007.

The Meth Mouth Prevention and Community Recovery Act will provide for a school base prevention program that will educate students about the oral health risks associated with meth use. And, the Correctional Costs and Reentry Support Act will create an infrastructure assistance program that will sustain correctional dental programs.

Both bills capture the prevention, treatment, and correctional solutions to this growing problem.
