The Meth Mouth Correctional Costs and Reentry Support Act will:

(a) Examine the many ways that oral health and dental care contribute to the general health of individuals, their communities, and to the country as a whole.

(b) To investigate and report on the oral health of jail and prison inmates and dental care in correctional facilities.

(c) To provide an infrastructure assistance program that will temporarily sustain correctional dental programs that have been disproportionately taxed by the prevalence and severity of inmate meth mouth.

(d) Ensure that the Department of Justice’s prisoner reentry initiatives include oral health and dental care.
